Born in Connecticut, Kevin moved to North Carolina as an adult. His journey included hardships and uphill battles—but also a determination to build a future in the electrical trade.
At 34, he reached a defining milestone: establishing an electrical contracting company with an unlimited license in North Carolina. That foundation became Genesis Solar Electric, and its personal commitment carries forward into CK Electrical Solutions.

That belief led Kevin to found Faith Youth and Trades Incorporated, helping young men pursue goals after uphill battles of their own. He is also working toward establishing an accredited trade school—a goal still in development.

Do I need a panel replacement or a full service upgrade?
That depends on your equipment, existing service, available circuit space and electrical loads. An on-site assessment helps define whether repair, a subpanel, panel replacement or a service upgrade is appropriate.
Can you review another contractor’s estimate?
Yes. Share an existing written residential panel or rewiring estimate for a free document review. This does not replace an on-site assessment. Any assessment, testing or troubleshooting charges are discussed before booking.
What are my payment and financing options?
We discuss the payment schedule with your written project scope. You may arrange financing through your own bank, credit union or lender. CK does not currently provide loans or have a confirmed financing partner. Lenders determine approval and terms.
What information should I send about my project?
Share the property type, ZIP code, work you need and preferred timing. Existing plans and safely taken photos of rooms, fixtures, closed equipment and readable labels can help. Do not remove panel covers or touch exposed wiring to take a photo.
